If your Private Information was exposed to unauthorized third parties as a result of the Data Security Incident discovered by Belle Tire Distributors, Inc. on or before June 11, 2024, then you may be a Class Member. Excluded from the Settlement Class are: the Judge in this case, and the Judge’s family and staff.
If you are a Class Member and wish to receive Settlement Benefits then you must submit a Claim Form by July 27, 2026.
Belle Tire will pay Documented Losses, court-approved attorneys’ fees and costs, Service Award payments for the Plaintiffs, and the costs of administering the Settlement. Belle Tire will also establish an Alternative Pro Rata Settlement Fund of $75,000.00. The Alternative Pro Rata Settlement Fund will be used to pay Alternative Pro Rata Cash Compensation.
Documented Losses. If you incurred actual, documented out-of-pocket losses due to the Data Security Incident, you can get back 150% of what you spent, up to $1,000.00. The losses must have occurred between June 11, 2024, and July 27, 2026, and you cannot claim a payment for expenses that have already been reimbursed by a third party. This benefit covers out of-pocket expenses like:
losses because of identity theft or fraud
fees for credit reports, credit monitoring, or freezing and unfreezing your credit
cost to replace your IDs
postage to contact banks by mail
You need to send proof, like bank statements or receipts, to show how much you spent or lost and the bases for why you believe the expenses are because of the Data Security Incident. You can also send notes or papers you made yourself to explain or support other proof, but those notes or papers alone are not enough to make a valid claim. Your proof or notes should show that your expenses were because of the Data Security Incident.
Alternative Pro Rata Cash Compensation. In the alternative to submitting a claim for Documented Losses, Class Members may file a claim an equal share of the Alternative Pro Rata Settlement Fund. The amount of the payment will be calculated by dividing $75,000.00 by the number of valid and timely Alternative Pro Rata Cash Compensation claims. You do not have to provide any proof or explanation to claim this payment.

The deadline to submit a Claim Form online or by email is July 27, 2026. If you are mailing your Claim Form, it must be mailed with a postmark date no later than July 27, 2026.
